Ride plate for XP?

I'm looking for a ride plate with speedo for a 96 Seadoo XP. Either stock or aftermarket would be fine. Would this plate be the same on any other Seadoos?

Hey AP, where to anchor?

So if someone was going to make their way downriver, where are some good spots for them to drop a hook and fire up a barbeque??? (with at least 38" of water)

surprise trip

Headed out to the boat to do a little work tonight, even though they were talking "storms"...

Didn't look so bad, so we headed out for a little cruise before the sun went down. WAS AWESOME!! Lake was calm, temp perfect... got a little tiny sprinkle, but no rain. Cuised around for about 2 hours before we put her to bed tonight. Looking forward to tomorrow for another day on the lake!

Would you take a class?

For the last several years I've been thinking about putting together a class for boaters...

This would be geared for folks who want to understand more about their boat, so they can be a better educated consumer (talking to repair yards, contractors, mechanics, etc) or for do-it-yourself types who need some foundation before they dive into work on their own boat, or for people who want to take care of things BEFORE they become issues. This would NOT be a step-by-step procedure class, would not be a "how to operate your boat", but something geared toward understanding that big, expensive asset you own and would rather ENJOY than sit around waiting for it to be fixed, or worry when it breaks.

This would be a hands-on class... with LOTS of real props. THIS is what a freeze-cracked valve looks like, THIS is what an impeller with broken blades looks like, THIS is what a bad coolant hose feels like. We'd talk about WHY things happen and WHY people do things they do when taking care of their boat.

This would be an off-season class - pre- or post- season so it doesn't eat into valuable summer time.
