Beacon Cove is a great marina. We were there for 15 years and loved it. We stayed in both the rack and wells.

My first boat was 8' wide and we were in the racks for a few years. Since we enjoy night boating, we moved to a well. The problem we found later was that many of their docks were built for 8' boats and my next boat has more beam. It is 9'6", but the well was still 10" There was no way to tie the boat that would keep it from smashing against the pilings on stormy days (no, there wasn't room for padding). I switched to a 15' well and my boat was lost in it. Since I liked Beacon Cove so much, I moved back into the rack, but even those spots were tight and we couldn't go for a ride at midnight. mad.gif

If I had a narrower boat, I would still be there. smile.gif We moved to 9 Mile, but the boat is fast enough that we can go "home" in a few minutes.
