FYI, we created a new map of the marina for Beacon Cove. There's a link to a PDF version of it on the home page of their site. I don't know if that would be easier to use or not.

That was our well. We liked it there. The only issue with being out on the end of the marina was docking when it was windy. Our boat was almost 32' and was a little tight with the wind. Only time I had issues is when one engine stalled. Other than that it was no problem. just take it as slow as possible at all times. Enjoy.

Did you back in, and which way was the wind typically blowing your boat?

I originally started backing in but found that the wind typically blew in from the south. Either way it blew me all over the place no matter what before I could completely get out of the well and maneuver out away from the adjacent boats. So, even though I got crap from a couple others on the dock I started to bow into the well. Don't worry about the others giving crap because I left the dock every weekend they didn't.

By backing out of the well it gave me more of an advantage in forward once my bow cleared the end dock piling. Remember, I have rudders and almost no control in reverse. If you have out drives you may find that it is easier to back in. Good luck in what ever decision you make.

I think Im getting the boot from E52...The guy across the aisle is complaining that Im sticking out too far and that he doesnt have room to get out of his slip now. The aisle is over 40 feet wide and his boat is only 28', but whatever...I dont mind moving, I just dont want to get stuck paying more.
