Blue Water Lights Exhibit

LSCN Pirate Group: Members Posts: 292 Joined: 23-November 08 From: St. Clair, MI Member No.: 8278 Home Port: Saint Clair Boat Type:1998 Monteray 236 Boat Name: Numbskull	Went to the Port Huron Museum today to listen to a presentation by "Lighthouse Bob" a 20 year Keeper of the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse. They have a nice exhibit going until March 15 on the Blue Water Lights and the Ladies of the Lights. I noticed one display case had some items donated or on loan from the SOSCL. http://www.phmuseum.org/ The Fort Gratiot Lighthouse has some deteriorating bricks falling from the outside tower so the site will be open for tours but you will not be able to climb the tower until they can fix it up. Looks like they need to get some fund raisers going too. -------------------- LIFE ISN'T ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORM TO PASS.... ...IT'S LEARNING HOW TO DANCE IN THE RAIN!

I will be there and hopefully the structural engineer (the same one who worked on the South Channel Lights) as well. Lighthouse Bob is a great guy.
