I think I know where the leak is!
This caught my eye as I was traveling down the road.
Looks like they are stripping the engines out?

Anyone sell a boat in fall with the sea trial in spring?
Has anyone sold a boat in the fall with the sea trial scheduled in the spring? Broker says we close the deal now, exchange money, and have the sea trial in spring. Seems to me that gives the buyer all winter to keep shopping, then change mind in spring at sea trial if he wants.
Broker says he has done this before with an escrow account reserved from the proceedings then disbursed after sea trial.
All documents refer to "a satisfactory sea trial" so we are still little leary about how we can close with out it?
What all can a buyer use from the sea trial as a way out of the deal, like how little of an item can be a deal breaker? uhm.gif

Trailer storage for a week
OK, so I can get a transient slip at Belle Maer, but got no where to keep the 25 ft trailer for the week. Was trying to keep it close.
I tried to keep the trailer there but the response was less than positive! Yikes!.......
NO! NO! NO TRAILERS!!(soup nazi voice)
So I called around, Marley, Beacon Cove, no answer at Blue Lagoon. No luck so far.
Any suggestions other than keep moving it daily from Kroger to Walmart to the Park and Ride, quarter car wash, take a tire off on I94 shoulder...... dry.gif
Was gonna launch at Harley but pretty sure they won't let me leave it there for a week.
Anybody got neighbors with a big driveway that are gone? laugh.gif

Are the channel markers there?
Brought the boat up from Lake Erie past Metro beach, and according to where they are on the chartplotter, I didn't see any going into Metro, or any off in the distance for the channels..........are they out there and I just didn't see them, or have they not been placed yet??

Anchor chain--does everyone use it?
New to LSC, and not familiar yet with the bottom.
Found a deal on a GOOD brand windlass, but it is rope only.
On my installation, it would leave room for only about a foot of chain.
Is anyone using only rope with their anchor and having success? The boat is a 38 foot Chris-Craft and I'm concerned the hook won't bite with out the chain.
