I accidentally stepped on my garmin handheld gps and cracked the screen it was just a simple etrex that I would use to mark spots where i caught walleye. I need to purchase another one, my question is for fishing rivers and lakes is there a handheld unit that has topo maps and if so are they accurate and worth the extra cost, or should I just buy another etrex and be done with it? Thanks in advance for all responses
I have a Garmin 650t.....I really like it but I use it for hiking and Off road motorcycle riding...I downloaded a bunch of free map software onto an SD card...
Thanks for your responses guys, I think im going to take Junior58 advice and try the navionics app and see. If i don't like it im only out 10 bucks.
