Damn, didn't know it was that bad. Looks like they are about $140 million shy of fixing it! Here's the article

god this is something im all for raised taxes, we need to get this sh*t (pun intended) taken care of this is our fresh water, a lot of peoples lives depend on the resources that we have here in the great lake state. don't f**k it up because were to worried about spending some money to properly maintain and dispose of this issue. i don't care if our lake drains out every what 8 days, it still creates a problem somewhere down the road. just do it right and we won't have to worry about this any longer. come on Michigan get your sh*t together!!!

There is no need to raise taxes to pay for this. Instead of sending our boys overseas and spending billions there we should bring them home and give them jobs to fix crap like this. The answers are all there and any middleschooler can figure them out.

They want to be in the military by choice . We need and thank our outstanding military. I think they'd rather not be doing sewer systems. Why not give the jobs to those on welfare instead.

Harrison township covers a LOT of real estate. I'd like to know whether this trashed marina was directly on the Clinton River, or whether it was south of Huron Point. Anyone have that info???

Because that would still need additional funding/increasing taxes..

Maybe the Gov. Will use some of his new found slush fund money from the increases in our registration fees and hiked gas taxes to fix it.
