For those of you that launch early in the season, a word of warning:

The high winds today are causing a lot of junk to be blown into the water. Be careful and watch out for such debris. Hitting some of it at speed could cause damage to the hull.

Lots of debris like tree limbs has blown down, and is lying along shorelines all over the place.

As water levels continue to rise thru summer (July 15th is the normal peak high water level) this debris will float off the shorelines, and into the waterways everywhere.

There is more ice coming down the channels today. I heard that Hollyhock dropped some buoys in already though.
