It was one helluva weekend, here's the report:
Left work and hit the gym at 5pm friday, came back, packed, and got ready for a wedding. Buddy who was driving with me to chi-town got to my place around 830, headed to the wedding, had 2 blacks on the rocks, 5 beers (wedding beers) and left at 10 before dinner. Thought, hell, we're already livin it up, let's stop at gators. Had a beer and a smoke and we were out in 16 minutes. Got to my place, changed, on the road by 1045. stop at jet's, 2 slices each, it's on to the windy city. Pulled in front of burton place at 2:45 am, closed it down at 5. 2 guys, $200 tab. Don't ask me how, beers were only 4 bucks!! Saturday, 10 am, up for my run (not surprisingly still bombed) and I can't stop thinking about where I could've gone duck hunting in chicago
Got back, cleaned up, got to john barleycorn's for the state disaster by halftime, got plastered there with a couple hotty bartenders, and started walking back to the pad for the u of m game. Never made it. barleycorn's was approx. 1.5 miles away from my buddy's, the 3 of us (out of 12 that were there originally) decided to walk it back, and we hit 4 more bars on the way home. Got back to the pad around 7 lol got ready for the party the pics were from, and of course, we killed 2 cases in how long it takes adam to tie his shoes before we left. Got to the party, where which we had a vip booth, bottle service, and all you can drink till 1 am. Some of the weaklings left, we stayed, and got in good with the "girls next door" my god was that a fantasy come true. Left the bar singing songs from top gun on north ave, and we eventually pass out about 630. up a few hours later for brunch, and we were on the road by 230 pm, back at our local bar by 8pm, and rounded off the insanely excellent weekend with more drinks, and of course, the weekend closer, a sack of goods from WHITE CASTLE!!

Wow, wish I (and my liver) could have enjoyed such a weekend. I went to chicago for the national restaurant show, I arrived off the train bombed and I left quite polluted. It is a unique place. Looks like you lived it up

Wow, somebody knows how to Party
, all I have done lately is work, work and work some more.
Lots of new embroidered hunting designs available, but I could use a break like that

I would say everybody with the willingness should do it. I love that city, and I don't think anybody who's been there and elsewhere will argue the quality of their food, nightlife, and "scenery". My friends and I are addicts now. 7-8 times a year the past 4 years.
I've thought about taking the boat out there in the summer, but that trip can get pretty $$$, so that thought only ever gets so far. Next date, December 31 baby.

We just listed all the condos at the end of South River next to the boat launch. Going to take pics (and glass the lake for birds). Later Fellas!
