Is that a splash guard on the front of this one?

Yes it is

Does it work fairly well? I have this machine and I eat lots of LSC water on all but calm days.

Welcome to the site Rheeder218.

I had a splash guard on my 99 XP. I had to take it off because it was tearing in a couple spots. After taking it off it proved that it did make a difference in rough choppy water. Worth the money.

Wow! Great Pics. How is the rxp holding up? I have an 07 and I understand there is a maintenance issue with some ceramic bushings or something in the S.C. I haven't had any trouble with mine but I have under 100 hours on it.

thanks smile.gif

its sold now, I'm looking for a YAMAHA GP1300r to go with my honda f12x for this summer..

but, it held up real good.. no problems.. except with the ceramic bushings in the S.C.
heres the way you can tell if their shot.. the first 1/2 hour you ride it,
ck your top speed, if you are a few mph short of its usual max you gotta put
new ceramic bushings in the S.C.

after the 1/2 hr the ceramic bushings in the S.C. get hot and stop slipping..
mine started doing it @ around 40hrs

DO NOT RUN THE SYNTHETIC OIL! it will kill those ceramic bushings in the S.C.
super fast...

Picked it up in the fall. We only got it out for one ride before we put it away. Its a 99' and is a little older than we were looking at, but it only has 33 hours on it.

Very, very awesome. August 1969. Wow. Any idea where the jet is now? I would assume you don't know, but just a thought.
