Here is our current ride. It's a 1989 Sea Rayder. 175hp Mercury V6. Gonna GPS it this year. But it think it does close to 50mph.

ahhh I I used to have a 2003 XP DI and I loved it. Ended up moving into Rochester with the DI, a motorcycle and an old JS550.. Was taking up 3 parking spots and eventually was forced to get rid of my toys. Sold the DI, year after literally ALL my friends started to get into boating. So much more fun when you have people to go with. Can't wait for the day when I can ride again. Growing up sucks but I figure, if i make the sacrifices now, I will be able to enjoy toys later down the road. Nice ski!

This is my new ride. It's a 2000 SeaDoo 1800 Challenger. Had some motor issues right out of the gate, but now she is running strong. Has a 210hp Mercury. Love this boat so far. First thing I did was take most the decals from it. I think it looks much better this way.

Wow! That boat looks great Bill!!

I thought you just got rid of a jet-boat?? Did you miss the flexibility of getting in those shallow areas of the flats??

I sold the last one because I had to. That was a 16' Sea Rayder. It was a really fun performing boat, but this one is definitely an upgrade in size and speed. Bigger motor to start and much more room in the boat. I really enjoy having a large swim platform and swim ladder on the stern. Handles wake really well too (for a jet boat).

We used to have that boat, that color, but with the twin seadoo engines. It was my dad's, but I used it more than he did. Had lots of problems with the seadoo jet drives. My dad eventually sold it. I had a blast on it, though! Used a lot of gas...
