Hey All.

Thinking of trying 9 mile pier for the first time today for a few hours...

Wanted to double check with you all about access first though.

Can anyone fish this pier? or is it only open to residents?

is there a parking fee?

thanks in advance!=)

Hi Brian,

The 9 mile pier is open to Eastpointe, Roseville, and St. clair Shores residents, however, it is county owned land, the DNR funded the new boat ramp, (which makes it public) and they do let residents of other cities launch their boats there. It depends on who the guard is that day.
SHAPPELL ~ RAPALA ~ STRIKEMASTER ~ NORTHLAND ~ LINDY ~ VMC

CRAWLERS ~ SUCKERS ~ EMERALD SHINERS ~ SPIKES ~ WAX WORMS

OPEN 5:00am - 10:00pm Mon - Thurs & 5:00am - 11:00pm Fri - Sat
23800 Jefferson ~ corner of 9 mile & Jefferson
St. Clair Shores

The guards name is bob. I'll find out how strict they are this year.
