Invasion of the Little Green Bugs

Yesterday I was thinking how nice it has been this year with minimal bugs. Saw a couple spiders and fish flies but nothing bad. This morning - Holy shish-ka-bob !!!
There are millions of little green bugs everywhere. They hold on to the screens so you can't brush them off. They seem to drown in about a millionth of an inch of water and make a mess. You end up swallowing some if you pass through a swarm and it looks like they even leave a stain if you don't wash them off right away.
And to top it off I left the sunroof open in my car. I guess that late night beer run to Kroger wasn't such a good idea after all.

Your story made me laugh out loud, they are annoying little buggers.

My guess is the bugs are green midges, they are usually found around water. Sort of like a green gnat, glad to know they don't bite, but they are no fun to clean up.
It's too early for caddis flies or mayflies, but those will be coming soon.

Great. Havnt waxed the topsides yet either. The green stains I've always thought was their crap/pee.
Be yourself, not someone you wish you were.
