Try pounding a mud anchor into the bottom when the perch aren't biting. It will possibly bring a school in, then it is your job to keep them there with keeping baited lines in the water.

Sorry, thought this needed SOMETHING that involved fishing in a fishing report thread.

to answer your question though, contact Kevin Paton, "Makowish" on this site. He deals in real estate, he may be able to help.

Anglers Point has an apartment/loft for rent. Full service location too with fuel, bait, snacks and on site dockage as well. They`re great folks that treat ya right and are also a sponsor of this site. Give them a call for info. Here`s their link. http://www.anglerspointmarina.com/
God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, and when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lords safe landing net I`m peacefully asleep, that in his mercy I be judged as big enough to keep.

Chris- Call Kevin Paton, or you can PM him on here; he's Makowish. Good dude.

Also Google "Harsens Island Rentals." There's a slew of them that go weekly and are furnished and most or many have slips for your boat. But if you came up with the two John's, it'd split pretty affordably. I bet you could even talk to Ed and get him to drop a week here and help split the costs. Some may even be big enough to fit two boats in case you come up with Simba. ;)

Detroit is dangerous. Just be glad you made it out alive last time!
Dead 50" fish don't follow, dead 50" fish don't hit, dead 50" fish don't fight and escape, dead 50" fish don't give you the thrill of a lifetime and dead 50" fish don't reproduce. They just hang there: dead worthless curiosity's-Jack Burns
