A few folks may remember the killing and shooting on Falcon lake down here. I know bass fisherman from Michigan like to fish the lake. The Sheriff down here requests you be armed. Well I am happy to let the tourist fishermen know the first Texas DPS Gunboat (There will be atleast 6) has been commissioned today. And yes, those are machineguns. Texas is not counting on the Feds anymore to protect bass fishermen or jet skiers on the border! Come on down and visit!

Does that say "Texas Highway Patrol" on a BOAT?? :)

Glad they are doing something on Falcon. We could probably afford to send some remote camera towers down there to help with surveillance!!

Woo Hoo!!!! I cannot wait to go vacation to a lake that is patrolled by not 1, but 6 machine gun equipped boats. Sounds epic!

They had this boat in Lauderdale for the boat show. Pretty sweet boat. Just because of the goodies on it but because of it being a YellowFin.

I think what is truly "epic" is going on vacation to a lake in Michigan where a Govt bureaucrat is watching you play with your girlfriend from three miles away. Woo Hoo!

Come on down and enjoy the sunshine, unless you are busy boating this weekend. Why vacation? Move on down and you can boat all year! I have space to store your boat, and plenty of extra ammo.

Nothing wrong with a little shooting, as long as the right people get shot.

Great point. We have a bunch of cameras to document the bad guys doing stuff (and other antics PB1 is kind to point out), but TX gets the real can of whoop-a$$. Where is the justice?

Ahhh. Magnum Force.

In the vein of "Bigger is Better," may I propose the flagship of the Texas Navy? Need a little coal to get the old up-and-downers going again, but 40mm Bofors and 14"/45s would work just fine...

Texas "Highway" Patrol or Border Patrol, when seconds count, they are moments away, and bad stuff can happen to good people anytime, anywhere.
Uhm, ask me again why I prefer to be equipped to handle my own defense. :)

This get's into the "political" thread a bit, but it is a full on war going on in our southern border states. I have no issues further arming our forces on the border. I said this 3 years ago when two Border Patrol agents were killed by Cartel members.....our military should march thirty miles into Mexico and set up a "DMZ," anyone operating inside the DMZ is subject to be shot. If mexico cant control their citizens, we will do it for them.

...Man I miss my boat....
