Totally agree...the show needs our support. That's why I bumped this thread, was to generate some talk and exposure. Just saying I have guys from out of state email or call me and ask if the show is still on or not, and even local muskie fishermen who don't even know the show is happening because they haven't seen anything mentioned or advertised.
I agree as well the show needs support... But with out advertising how is the general public going to even know there is a show. Outside the core group of muskie anglers that are going to attend the show anyhow you have to be able to let people know who are not in the muskie scene. Last year you would see michigan muskie show all over facebook this year was minimal at best and thats free advertising. When I was at the chicago show some of the vendors were asking if there was even going to be a show due to the lack of advertising and communication with the michigan muskie show. I hope the turn out is great but if no one knows about it how are they supposed to attend.Look at the Milwaukee Muskie Show that guy is constantly sending emails, on facebook, returning vendors phone calls and thats free. I hope im wrong and the show has a great turnout so all the vendors have a good show.
