Fishing the Trenton channel

What is the closest launch that is open to fish the t/c I was Gona try Belanger park or do I have to go further south to Erie state park?

Went out for a couple hours today and fished 6-8 fow first fish was 10.5 then got a 12.5 few min later brought home 16 fish 8 an up ice is still a good 6+

Headed up to houghton lake to get the snowmobile out and to do some fishing . Set up a mile off shore from a bait shop in about 11 fow. Took 10 min to hook into my first walleye then I didn't mark anything till 5 o'clock . Right before dark a nice school of eyes Came threw and got my limit . It was 3 degrees out and wind chill was -18

Heading over to houghton lake from my place on st Helen . Heard there is 7-12 inches of ice out there still so I am Gona be carefull and keep making some holes to see how thick it is . Anyone fish houghton an have any luck ? We r fishing right out of Denton creek for walleye
