  4. The 2 happiest days in a boaters life...

    26 November 2012 - 05:52 PM

As they say.....The 2 happiest days in a boaters life are the day they buy their boat and the day they sell it.

Not so true, I sold my boat two weeks ago and been depressed ever since.:(
  5. Selling the boat

    24 September 2012 - 11:01 AM

So it looks like I sold my boat again, (not holding my breath) I have a few questions..................

The buyer is from out of state and will be keeping the boat here over the winter.

We agreed on a price pending survey, but have a few things to work out regarding winterization and storage.

I will be pulling the boat out for winterizing and storage as usual, any day now, based on the water level at my well.

    Heres the costs:

$500+ to fill up tank for storage
    $150 shrink wrap (material only)
$1,100 winterize, oil changes, outdrive service, transport, haul and shore up w/ launch next year.

-no storage fees, it's on my property.

Who should be responsible for paying for this?
