Snow owls are back

Had a snowy owl arrive this week in the neighborhood, perched on chimney.... bye bye rabbits.
Also seen one across from Tryst this AM on way to work. -
FYI - Bouvier Creek, Swan Creek and Salt River - no ice

The ice that once was, on these three tributaries, is NO LONGER. People were riding quads & sleds on them last week (me included)...and that will not happen this weekend.
As viewed from the road this AM after the warm up, rain & run off. All three were open and flowing water. Use this info as you wish.
Bouvier Creek:
Open from within St Johns Marsh, past Rose Marine and out to the lake
Swan Creek:
Open both directions from M29, including in front of the Citgo canal
Salt River:
Open both directions from Jefferson bridge
