28 May 2014 - 07:17 PMI just commented on a similar thread. We have stayed at Milliken and Kean's. I preferred Kean's due to hot tub, pool, bar, and store. There is more access to shuttles at Kean's also. Milliken is nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a hard time getting a cab after the concert to Milliken.
28 May 2014 - 06:45 PMWe stayed at Milliken two years ago for the Jimmy Buffet concert. We went to Kean's last year. I agree with the previous posters that it was a nice and clean marina. The staff was friendly and helpful. At night you could hear a lot of activity going on outside the marina. People were racing or cruising, I am not really sure. It was nearly impossible to get a cab. I like Kean's better because they have a pool, hot tub, bar, store, and it was easier to get transportation. They have a (not free) shuttle service and SInbad's has a shuttle too. We went to Sinbad's for Sunday brunch and it was good and reasonably priced. I guess it depends if you want the amenities or not.
23 May 2014 - 05:44 PMYou all will probably think this is a ridiculous question, but i am new to the boating world( bought one last may) and dont know the LSCN language yet. What and where is the BBC. I am slowly catching on so bare with me, I'll get it eventually. Thx
Look on page 1, post 15, of this thread. Randy (Livin' the Dream) explains the event. We are always willing to help !
