If that is the measuring stick,
Taxpayers lost a lot more than that in failed programs that had a negative impact on society and still spending on them.
It is not government job to provide for people existence. and the Government has spent so much more on that.
The 10.5 B the government did not get back directly, was accounted for by all the people tied to the jobs that were saved in taxes, revenue, and all the millions of people that paid taxes and were able to actually take care of themselves, dine out, pay bills...in so many communities.
Was it correct to bail out GM - NO. We have defined laws that the P.O.T.U.S. chose to bi pass to help his union constituents, that was the reason he did what he did, the rest that were helped was just a impact he could care less about
Clearly your a GM guy. Please mail me $10 and we will call it even.
