Ahoy boaters, the season is just around the corner. Don't wait until the last minute to get our boat project done. I am BOB "THE BOAT SEAT GUY" The re-upholstery of any cushion, seat, or panel on your boat is my specialty. There are 2 methods that re-upholsterers use. Most re-upholsterers trace the a pattern using the old stretched out vinyl as a template.This method leads to a good, but less than perfect fit. I make the pattern from scratch by using the foam as a template. This takes longer to do. However, the fit is much tighter and the final product looks better than new.I compare it to an off-the-rack suit vs a custom tailored suit. For boats,I only use marine grade materials,even my thread is marine grade. I have the equipment and ability to replace any rotted wood with marine grade plywood or Star Board. I will re-energize your original foam or custom cut new foam if needed. I only use stainless steel staples and hardware. I custom tailor cockpit covers as well. We get booked with work till July by late April as do most quality upholsterers.This is especially important to consider for larger projects. My prices are right.Taylor-made work for an off-the-rack cost. I have a list of satisfied customers available.
