What an excruciating winter it was!
Welcome to the Spring 2003 edition of the Lake St. Clair Network Newsletter. To say this past winter was long, dark, cold and miserable would be a huge understatement! Fortunately, the weather has finally taken a turn and the boating season is offically underway.

For those of you are receiving this newsletter for the first time, WELCOME ABOARD! We send this out quarterly to the thousands of good people who have signed up to receive it in order to find out what's new and exciting in the pages of the Lake St. Clair Network. This spring we have lots of new features worth mentioning and many more in the works! We will continue to make improvements and add content as long as you keep telling us how we can improve. Our lines of communication are always open, so please take the time to fill out our Suggestions Form .

Our site traffic numbers continue to stagger the imagination, as this past winter resulted in a growth rate of over 100% in both visitor sessions and pages viewed. Thanks to all of you, we have become THE voice of the lake community and the businesses have finally taken notice. This summer will see the Lake St. Clair Network become a household name among boaters, anglers and water-sport enthusiasts in SE lower Michigan.

Lake St. Clair Network - 3rd Anniversary Bash at The Tin Fish!
LSCN Rocks the Tin Fish Resort!
On May 17th, The Lake St. Clair Network celebrated its 3rd anniversary on-line by having a birthday bash of monumental proportions at the Tin Fish Resort in Fair Haven. Several hundred people showed up to help us celebrate our growth and success and a great time was had by all. Our very own "Camp 2-Fires", Bob Bauer of 97.1 FM Talk helped us give away several great prizes while helping to raise money for the SOSCL organization.

The party was a complete success and was a precursor to what is to be expected from the Club LSCN Members this summer as we look ahead to Jobbie Nooner and several other great events we have planned out on the water.

LSCN at the Metro Beach Spring Boat Show
Thanks to all who stopped by to say hello and wish us well. The show was unusually small this year but that didn't stop folks from coming out to check out the boats and soak up a little sun.

This year, for the first time, we had several of our members volunteer to come out and help us work the booth. To all those who volunteered, thank you so much for helping out!
