See the list above....alot of attacks prevented If there had been a legitimate attack prevented you would have heard about it believe me. They are constantly trying to justify their illegal war for profit. Airport security, 11 million illegal aliens (no, none are terrorists,right), protection of power plants, seaports, the list goes on and on. Either we are extremely lucky or the threats were exagerated to win an election, invade a country that never attacked us ( all the while ignoring the real threats),and on and on.
Now if(all you suscribe to any independent thoughts you hate America or you blame Clinton. How lame is that thinking. The Line Item Veto was taken away in 1998/1999....Clinton used it 82 times, Bush never had the opportunity, but has tried to get it reinstated.[/color]

By Sher Zieve - Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) blames the Bush Administration's environmental polices for causing the upcoming destruction of New York City and Boston. Offering nothing tangible, and refusing to address any other administrations' policies, Kerry said that New York City and Boston will be destroyed by 2036.

Kerry told Radio host Don Imus: "I can say to an absolute certainty that if things stay exactly as they are today absent some unpredictable change in what's going on, within the next 30 years the Arctic ice sheet is gone. Not maybe, not if. The Arctic ice sheet is gone. Already you have the Greenland ice sheet beginning to melt. If that melts, you have a level of sea level increase that wipes out Boston Harbor, New York Harbor. I mean, it's just stunning what we're looking at. Europe and the other countries are responding. The United States remains oblivious; at least the administration remains oblivious."

Kerry did not comment on whether or not he might do something to help Boston. NewsMax reports that he also did not comment on his own ownership and large energy usage, regarding his many houses (eleven of them), SUVs, large yacht, private jet and his refusal to support the installation of a wind farm close to one of his homes.

Doesn't he know that 90 percent of an ice berg is in under water. Has he ever left a drink of ice water sitting until the ice melts? If he did would he notice that the water level goes down because ice takes up more volume than the water it is made of (4% more to be exact). Does he realize that water makes up 75% of the earth's surface?

The criticisms just keep coming and President Bush isn't even up for re-election again. It's hateful and the hate is passed on and reinforced to all the Bush haters and you know who you are. Is all of this hate harmful to the country in one way or another? You bet it is but it's just politics right? Right. There is an old saying that goes something like "hate hurts the hateful more than it hurts the hated". And if you are truly honest with yourself you know that most of it is not even close to being true. But that doesn't really matter does it?

I just came from the bar. I didn't even bring it up but a couple people i met started in about Bush and woooooh!!! There are indeed a lot of people out there that would burn him at the stake if they had a chance! These were people that still have their jobs too! Myself, hate is not part of my vocabulary but dissatisfaction is! I'm finished worrying about what he does, he can destroy are whole country for all i care!

At least the majority will get the satisfaction of proving they were right!

Maybe i will get me a pair of those rose colored glasses!

I hear ya, it is so sad that this is reality.
but we have to spend more time in our governement addressing attacks from within our borders, from our own citizens , that seem to hate USA, and spend money for this, when I really think the money and time spent listening to internal jibberjabber, could be more effective paying for Proper educations for children, and paying for our senoir citizens, people who have protected, lived their ehole life, and supported this country so we can exist in it today. I think it could be used to help our middle class tax base burden, and help out our struggling companies due to the Liberal attitude, Gloal is better, people overseas are better than us.

If a corparation ran economically like this, and allowed the guy/gal in the corner complaining all day long about everything, and catered to that person, with their ridiculous ideas, or demands, we all know someone in the office, that is the cronic complainer, 24-7, everything is wrong, and b*thches and complains AND is basically the least productive person in the office, they get little or no tasks from people who really work, becasue they can not be trusted to complete them, as directd, by rule, by design, by clearly written specifications that are a must to be followed, but you can't have that complainer person do their part in the procss..because they won't do it properly, regaurdless the rules, the process, and everything, you do it yourself so it is done properly, and once, not 2-3-4-times and still wrong.
By the way, that person- complainer in the office, wasting the companies time, wasting,your time, and the customers time, and getting paid still, the same as the person working....The complainer is the Liberal. The person who can't perform as well as the others in the office, by actually following specifications, that is the Liberal.

I don't get "upset or mad" over this kind of crap. But I do get very frustrated. Not with the likes of "useful idiots" ( of course I am not referring to anyone on this board) but the likes of these liberal Democrats that have nothing positive to say or stand for anything positive for or about this country. I come from a military family you might say. I had an uncle in the airborne and one in the navy. I also had a brother who was in the navy and later joined the air force after he figured out he liked serving better than civilian life. He has since passed away. I also have a sister that served in the navy. To this day she serves in the VFW and does so proudly. The military didn't want me even though I wanted them. But, that's life.

Politics in this country have gotten so controlled by special interest groups that demand that politicians continually espouse the party line that they want them to. So politicians do it even if it hurts the efforts and safety of our military people in all the branches. Now some of them truly believe what they spout to any camera or microphone that they can find. But many don't. They do it for funds that will help them get reelected. Think about that, to get reelected! But either way, when we are at war and have young men and women in danger and getting killed every day every politician ought to be very careful of what they say publicly that could have any possibility of putting those protecting the country in danger or prolonging their exposure to it. Period. No exceptions.

I am sorry if I get a little too passionate about this topic but that's just the way I am.

Some of these men are a lot older and possibly wiser then George Bush and aren't interested in getting reelected for anything let alone President. Some of these old wise ones want to get out of Iraq immediatly so too shorten the exposure of and perhaps save the lives of some of our young men and women! I agree though that if we pulled out now it would look like we just went to open a huge can of worms even if it would save some lives. On the other hand some of these old wise ones believe that if we would pull out now that it would be beneficial and perhaps speed up the liberation of the Iraq'ie people. No one really knows for sure and time may never tell?

Again i respect everybodys opinion here and never lash out, make unwarranted threats, resort to name calling or stereotyping for i am an adult.
