Anglers, Just wanted to remind everyone that the Semi-Pro Open is on JUly 18th, 2009 out of Harley Ensign. This is an OPEN tournament and you do not have to be an NBAA member to participate. Check in will begin at 5am with a short meeting around 6:30am and blast off at 7am. We would like any and all who want to fish to do so, as long as you are eligable under the rules.

PLEASE REMEMBER THERE IS A RESTRICTION FOR ELIGABILITY ON THIS TOURNAMENT!!!!!!

So that everyone is perfectly clear on this and there are no questions, the rule is...

INDIVIDUAL ANGLERS WHO COMPETE IN THIS SEMI-PRO OPEN CANNOT HAVE EARNED MORE THAN A TOTAL OF $5000.00 IN CASH & PRIZES IN ONE CALENDAR YEAR FROM FISHING EVENTS AND TOURNAMENTS.

Examples, If you won a boat 10 years ago or even 15 or 20 that was valued over $5000.00 you would not be able to fish this open. If you won 10 tournaments in one season combined no matter who the tournaments were with and it equalled over $5000.00 you would not be able to fish this open. If you won a boat worth $2500.00 and an additional amount of cash during the same calendar year and it equalled over $5000.00 you would not be able to fish this tournament. Any combination of cash and prizes in any one calendar year anytime during your fishing career that equals over $5000.00 would exclude you from this tournament.

This is the third year we have run this and it always a good time with some nice weights being brought to the scales. To those who have fished in the past, THANKS, and we hope to see you again on the 18th.

If you have any questions feel free to call me on my cell phone. 248-830-0278.

God Bless,

Paul

Is it a team event? 5 fish limit? Spots paid out per boats?

Yes, yes, and I believe that they pay out 1 for every 7 entries.
The link provided both on here and on NBAA's website is not working. Is there any other way that we can get information off of the web?
I tried the link and it works just fine, but you can go to the NBAA web site for more info.
