Yea, thought that's what this site is for, helping each other out not rubbing it in.

Thats what I though. I wass on Lake woodall yesterday and the fish were there many crappie of that size I could see them on my aqua-view they would not bite anything. Two guys showed up just as I was leaving maybe the fish turned on later in the day. It makes me wonder I should have caught the guys name as he had brought his friend fishing with him and said we were in his hole.

QUOTE(Junior58er @ Jan 10 2009, 11:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>My buddy wanted to see the pics posted from yesterday. I probably shouldn't have posted them on here for the slack I'd catch but we were pretty proud of our catch. The blue gill that was the same size as my water bottle was the biggest I'd ever caught. You know how people have those secret honey holes ....... well, this is one of those cases and I wouldn't doubt if a few members on here know where this is from. It is indeed one of the 120 lakes in Oakland county.

Lake St, Clair has been so fustrating for me and many others it was just a nice surprise to get into some fish. I'm a man of my word and can't go back on the word I gave to the person who took me out there yesterday fellas ......sorry. Thanks to the guy(s) who gave the compliments though. There is hope elseware besides the dud of a lake known as St.Clair.

let's cream all over your catch.........when the fish start biting on the dud, stay the hell off of it. don't read any of the reports go to your little honey hole and put a perminent shanty on it!

guys, rest asured, if i go out on any PUBLIC lakes,in any county i'll let you know. i don't care if it's only a 30 acre lake, my shanty is only a 2 person. plenty of room for others

GOOD DAY

OK, 2 posts and then you put this I want people to praise me for catching fish post. I got a secret little honey hole I got to keep to myself garbage. How about keeping your little fish picture all to yourself too.
It would be different if you first posted some tips and helpful information, and maybe a hi guys! But to come on and start with this BS right out of the gate makes me want to say KMA.

It would be like Hey Schram, look what we caught! But I can't tell you where!!!
Image

Now do you think that would be nice?
How about you start over.
We all can catch fish here, but this panty waste showoff crap with "I can't tell you" is a little bothering bro.

Hey I'm new to the site but I'll share a small little lake that could possible be the one or narrow it down to 119. Theres a lake at Joseph J Delia JR Park. It's located off of 18 mile between Ryan and Dequindre. I've only done shore fishing there in the summer and I've seen bluegills, catfish, largemouths, small perch, suckers, and crappie caught. I don't know how deep the lake is but heard it's 60', but i think it would be more like 20-30'. The park might be closed in the winter time so good luck if you are able to fish there.

this site is not to give up honey holes, not sure what was originally posted since now its edited, but this site is for tips and reports, not to give up a small lake, so now everyone does not have to do any homework and can just come to a small lake and fish it out. show your catch, and give tips, and help others a little with homework, but don't do it all for them!!

I took my original posts and pics down because it angered some people, I didn't insult anyone like they did me. In no way did I say anything like "na na na na na". We had good fortune on a small lake after the type of catches as everyone else on St.Clair. We did our homework and went out of our way to find something else on our own. It could be fished out very easily. I said they hit on minnows with about any jig. Apparently I came to the wrong site with some crabby fisherman. Some of you were kind though. Comparing this lake to St. Clair would be like comparing an ant to an elephant.

To Ice Fishin Newbie. The lake on 18 and dequindre near Kmart isn't it. Since I'm being slayed ...... I'll give you this info Newbie. That lake on 18 mile is about 6-8 feet deep all the way across. I know this because I walked across it on both sides when it was being dug out waterless when I was a kid. No homes in that area yet. I also fished it later and had plenty of luck with the same catches you described. I spend many a days when I was a kid getting crawlers from Kmart and catching some very big largemouth by the bridge. JFYI ........ that lake is fed by runoff from the clinton. don't eat anything from that lake on 18 mile. The rumors you hear about it's depth are greatly exaggerated.

OK,
I was curious if the moderators deleted it and what exactly was said to get this to happen. I understand that you removed it.

trying to get a feel for the site yet.

I enjoy it so far.

Just cant take anything to personal or serious.

some people get to attached to this site and have to reply to things they don't agree with instead of ignoring it, by posting negatives stops people from sharing on this site. instead of attacks, they could of offered tips on how most post on here, instead of attacking.

there is a difference in fishing and catching, and if you can't do homework and pay your dues, you will not catch without someone holding your hand.

My point is like this, take Schramy for instance. He is one of the biggest show boaters on here, and with due and just cause, earrings, red hair, on TV, on CD, all the damn Musky he nails, etc............, Earned the right for photo shoots.

I have to say I think he puts a lot of time into passing on his Musky techniques and knowledge, and has got a few people on here a first Musky in the boat, and hooked on Musky fishing.
My brother tried to get me going for years trolling with him, and it was like boring the first time, and last. Schram said "cast brother, forget the trolling, and we went out and the rest is history. I think Basstek, me, and a few others learned some things, got into the Skies, and don't mind looking at his pics. But respect and appreciation are earned first. That's the way it's done.

Schram is the registered trade mark of Brian Schram Industries L.L.C. and its unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Schram, by the way, I missed ESPN, but my brother and his friend called me from Grand Blanc and said they saw my wild looking Musky fishing partner on cable ESPN this morning at 8:30 am.
Do you know when it will be on again?

I agree Tim, I my self will post a honey hole once in a while. This sight is for Tips and reports. Look what happened last year with the walleye post. 1 post and 1000 people out there. Could not even fish. It is nice once in a while when people post where they fished but to many lurkers here.
To bad there is not a privet form where you could post a honey hole and not have a million people there.

Don't mind promoting a guy that deserves it and passes on as much info as he has.

Met Musky Bob also, and got a lot of good info from him too, bought my hottest lure from him that he made, do I get an OMG for him too?

Stormchaser is awesome too, good pics, tips and weather updates. How about another OMG.

Basstek rocks too, he has pased on information on lures, techniques and locations, and posted some good pics too. How about another OMG.

Should I continue? The Boss is the Boss by the way, I have to say he rocks a little better than Schram, there I said it, happy.

Good fishing to you.
