I gave my good friend Fish Talker (Ray) a call this morning to see if he wanted to hit the water. Ray is a Bass guy but his Ranger is in the shop this week. I told him we would be Musky casting and he almost didn't go. But seeing as he already cut his grass 3 times this week he decided to ride along.
We hit the water around 10:30 and fished till around 3:30. Fished the Salt river area in 7 to 8 foot of water with the water temp at 73 degrees. The wind was not bad to start so I threw on a RickJames top water lure and started casting. Hit the first Musky after about 1/2 hour. On the very next cast after releasing the first fish I get another one to go on the top water. What a thrill, 2 top water fish on 2 consecutive casts.
After that the wind started blasting so we switched over to bucktails. We managed to get 2 more musky on the bucktails with Ray landing the largest fish of the day. What a trip that fish was. It hit next to the boat and ran under the boat and was jumping on the other side. Great job getting that one in, Ray.
I had a great day Ray, lets slime the boat again real soon, TEK.

What time did you guys catch the second two? I had to leave a bit after 2:00. I managed a small pike right after I saw you guys, but it looks like I left before the second bit came on. Story of my life. lol
Great job Fishtalker and Muskytek.....I mean basstek! You are realy hammering them.
