nice catch steve, they look delicious. do you get the cheeks off the eyes? just curious, alotta people love em.
yes my girlfriend loves them.
i found out today that one of the guys i was fishing with let 5 eyes go to waste that he took home and never cleaned very upsetting i dont mind taking from nature but i hate wasting
my dad use to tell me stories about people he'd take fishing and duck hunting, 2 different people would take they're keep home, as they walked up to the door, they'd toss em in trash, 1 guy did this with a good sized basket of perch, an the duck guy tossed 3 mallards in the trash. needless to say, but he never would let them go again. then they'd ask the stupid question.......why not?

i dont have a problem with people who wont eat fish, but dont take them home, leave them in the drink if your not going to eat them. C&R is the type of fishing for you.
if you dont eat duck, dont shoot duck. im sure theres people who do it that dont eat it, but im hoping they clean it and give it to someone who might actually eat it. i wish common sense was alot more common, it doesnt take a genius to figure out.

these people need to fish for gobies.

yeah i am not a big fish eater myself but i will clean them and give them to someone and people begs me for them but i do save enough to have a fish fry about once a month

i even gave my dad 7lbs of walleye when i went to see him in kentucky he took them to west virgina to my uncle that has cancer because he had never had walleye and he found out that i was catching them and asked for some.

the same with deer i give away what i dont eat. I have found beside the roads upnorth where people cut out the back straps and threw the rest away

as a kid squirrel hunting in ky the first time i couldnt give them away i quit hunting for them that year
