[Just One More]

Ok all you Lake St. Clair goo-roos. Within the last week, I heard an area (which I assume is by 9 Mile Road) referred to as the "9 Mile Boulder". I also read in another post "9 Mile Hump". What and where are these spots? Appreciate the help.

Look on any good map of the lake,...straight out from 9 mile road, you will see a large flat that is 8-10ft deep...in the middle of that flat is a long point that runs almost north/south...more NNE,...anyway,,.that "point" is 2-5 ft deep and that's refered to as the "9 Mile Point"...there's a bouy on the northern most tip of it. (The coord of that bouy are as follows: 42.28.54N and 82.51.54W) Good luck and be careful....the water's down a little and it could get shallow fast!

That "HUMP" they're refering to is probably the "point" I'm talking about,.....very similar to the Belle River "hump"

Thanks Mac. Not only will that help for fishing, but I've come blasting through there in the past. Never saw the shallow area on my map. I'll pay more attention. Thanks again

That area 9 mile hump: offers alot of rocks, all size's, and we all know crayfish relate to that structure, I think that's why it's a great area during early season and poof, it's finished, excluding dinks. I feel that the smallies move there eat most of the crayfish and deplete that bait and move on. I've spent alot of time there and that's what i think.
