That area 9 mile hump: offers alot of rocks, all size's, and we all know crayfish relate to that structure, I think that's why it's a great area during early season and poof, it's finished, excluding dinks. I feel that the smallies move there eat most of the crayfish and deplete that bait and move on. I've spent alot of time there and that's what i think.
