I just picked up a used Morrum 6600 and I'm looking for feedback from others. How does it perform in a casting role?

They cast very well, and are virtually indestructable. Only drawback I can think of is that the retrieve ratio is too slow for my taste as a Muskie reel.

Sorry Essox. I can't agree with you on this one . I think it is a great reel and it works most body baits at the right speed for me. It is smooth and it cast great. Bob

What can I say, I'm lazy. I can always crank slower, but when burning bucktails or pulling gliders I like a fast reel.

OK Esox. I like the C4 for my bucktails at 6.3 the retrieve is just about right. Are you going to be at BPS this weekend? I'm going to hang around there and see if I can help. BOB
