This weekend is the air show at Selfridge. Does anyone plan on hanging out at Poor Man's and watching the show? We were talking about going out Sun and watching from the lake.

Our plans as of now is to go to Selfridge to see everything up close and get great pictures on Saturday and then watch the show from the water on Sunday. The days could flip flop if Wantsa needs to change his schedule. We are planning on going with him and the Ms.

You get to see alot from the water and the view is good. But there is no comparison to watching it on base. It is amazing. You see a ton more.

We have pictures of the the bi-plane wing walker. The pictures we have capture her on top the wings and hanging upside down as they flipped. You aren't going to see that on the water.

This is the best of both worlds.

I'm hoping for a few fly-overs for Kaelyn's birthday party.

I'm sure there will be a fly over or two.

Has anyone talked about rafting off for the airshow? That was pretty fun a couple years back.

Anywhere on Anchor Bay you can see the planes flying. If you want to swim and enjoy the water while you're watching up in front of Belle Maer and MacRay Harbor ( or as they call it Poorman's) will be great spots.

I was on the base today and got a chance to see some jets pretty close up. Although, since I was working, I didn't have a chance to see any in the air, but I heard them. Based on what I saw on the ground, it should be pretty good!

I had some good fly-overs by the Thunderbirds earlier this afternoon. You could see the birds on the bottom and everything.

I have gone many times in the past and yes, N River Rd has been open
I have gone through both gates, be prepared for a VERY LONG and SLOW entry, I am talking miles long
but oh so worth the wait!!!
