DATE: 2009 Selfridge air Show/Open House will take place on August 22 - 23 rain or shine! Planes practice on Friday, August 21.
TIME: Gates will be open to the public at 8 a.m. daily. Static display aircraft and countless military, aviation, and technology displays will be available to all guests daily after 8:00 a.m. A radio-controlled aircraft demonstration will take place from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00. Flying performances will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the Thunderbird performance is over, about 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Selfridge ANG Base -Selfridge is located east of Mt Clemens and north of Harrison Township,
MI. The base can be accessed from I-94 by traveling east off of exit 241 (21 mile Road) or exit 237 (North River Road). NOTE: Rosso Highway (M-59) will be closed east of I-94. Bridgeview road will be closed between North River road and South River Road.
HANGAR PARTY: Friday, AUG 21, Hangar 36 Air Show Launch Party - Tickets are available online. Concert and fireworks display is $10. (Dinner, dedication, concert, fireworks are currently sold out).

Arrive early; traffic tends to be heavy throughout the day. Admission and parking are absolutely FREE!

4YourAmusement is providing clean and sanitized inflatables for kids to have fun in near the south end of the taxiway.
There are no security restrictions on camera/video camera/cell phone use; however, large camera bags are not permitted.
Drinks or food are permitted, but backpacks and coolers with these items will not be permitted on the airfield. All items brought in are subject to approval by gate security personnel and a hand-search at the security checkpoint.
You are welcome to bring a folding chair, but please leave any carrying cases in your car.
Strollers are permitted but will be hand-searched at the security
checkpoint. Please bring only necessary items in a small diaper bag,
subject to hand-search at the security checkpoint. Large diaper bags
will not be permitted. You can return to your vehicle during the show to
get extra clothes, restock diaper items, etc.
No personal tents or awnings will be allowed.
Handicapped parking is available. If your vehicle has a handicapped
license plate or windshield pass, you should enter the base through the
main gate at Rosso Hwy. You will proceed with the rest of the open house
traffic to the parking area. At the parking area, you will be directed
to the handicapped section. Be sure to identify yourself to security
personnel as someone requiring handicapped parking.
No bicycles will be allowed.
Visitors must enter the installation in a vehicle.
No Recreational Vehicles (RVs) will be permitted.
