I was casting a rap-x and retrieving it jerk bait style, It hit on my second pause. It was caught between gino's and the crocker launch in about 8-9 fow.

I caught a not-overly-heavy 40"er once and weighed it on calibrated scales and it went 17.5 lbs. Yours was probably not too far off that mark. Great fish, especially for St Clair. I have no trouble catching 20-35"ers, but anything above 35" is big for St Clair IMO.

Beautiful fish man, way to go. Prolly in that area fattening up on the bluegills in there, u da man!

Wow really seems to be some big quality pike this year. As far as I am concerned any pike over 34" on St Clair is a trophy.

Sweet! That's one jolly nice 'gator! Yeah, looks upper 30s, 15 lb easily.
