Was it another brush fire? It got pretty big and then died down after a little while...

·I believe I seen this? I thought there was a storm rolling in. Pretty balck in the sky.

we saw it too while boating to metro. it was around 5 or 5:30. from a distance, it looked as though there were 3 areas burning.
Actualy it was in a woods due west of Shipping Channel Marina. (2miles south of 23, on Jefferson)
They had to close down the neighborhood while it was being put out.
later in the same day there was another fire just north of metrobeach.
Is that a Volunteer Fire department out that way? If so they got alot of training that day.
