Another good size catfish (and dinner for a couple of nights) off of my dock on the South Channel on a chub. Wife caught the chub fishing for perch and put it on a hook and threw it out into the channel.

Nice cat. Really skinny for that length, i would have expected it to weigh 10 or 11

Yea, my son caught another one last night that was shorter at 27 inches but heavier at just under 10 lbs.

Nice fish. Has to be really cool to catch them right in the backyard or I guess it could be your frontyard.
