We're thinking about going out one last time this weekend for a day or two of fishing this great lake of ours and possibly the river.

Is there anyting still worth catching this time of year, or should we just wait till the hard comes in and head out?

Thanks

Hit the docks and boat houses in any canal you want to fish,...you should have a Crappie day for sure!!!

Should be beautiful here,...but not as nice as it'll be in ARIZONA!!! LOL

Wet a line Pyrate,...could be the last of the nice weather!!

We ended up going out sunday afternoon from about 3:30 till 5:30pm. Hit a spot about 2.5 miles out from HCN in 13' of water with a nice mound on the edge. In the 2 hours we were there, landed 8 nice jumbo perch, averaging about 11.75" each.

Had a great time and our son was absolutely fanatic about it.

The poles are now resting for the season and we are awaiting the coming of the hard water.

Pyrate

P.S. With the heavy fog on the lake, viz. was just less than .5 miles. All 3 kids (son brought a friend) thought it was great not bing able to see anything, yet hear the boats go by somewhere in the mist. Even let them navigate a bit on the way back as we were "lost in the fog.
" Only one rain squall hit us and it was after that they started bitting.
