QUOTE(John Maniaci @ Aug 7 2003, 11:42 AM)The video that Saleena took of the Musky eating a smallie yeaterday needs to be rotated...anyone know how to do this?
Mini
Not normally something that you need to do with an AVI, unless you hold your camera gangsta style.
I will check my software when I get home tonight but I don't remember seeing a rotate feature. I'll let you know if I think I can help.
Mini, If it's not that long of a video and you can get it to me through email, I can do whatever to it using Adobe Premiere or pinaccle studio. I am a bit rusty but i think i can get it done. [email protected] is my email. No attachment size limit but if its over 50 megs let me know ahead of time.
P.S. Which way does it need to be rotated? does it need to be mirrored? Angled (skewed) or flipped?
Soudns like it needs to be rotates 90 clickwise or counter-clockwise, since this video was accidentally shot while trying to take a portrait oriented picture.

That is correct.
And the video is only about two seconds long but it's great...if someone can tell us how to slow it down, it will be really awesome!!!

I also have pinaccle studio but was unable to find a way to rotate a video clip. Text overlays and still yes but clip no.
I just tryed a test with VirtualDub that Merlin mentioned and it seem to work great.
If you still need it rotated and slowed e-mail it to me and I'll send you back a couple at diferent speeds. I can also make it into an MPEG if you need the format changed.
