Guy pulled a semi-automatic weapon on a 20 year old teller. Don't have much more info, I JUST heard about it on 96.3 in a little news blurp.
edited with more info
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Southeastern Michigan police say they're seeking a man who put a handgun to a customer's head during a bank robbery.
Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel says the stickup happened Monday afternoon at a Flagstar Bank branch in Harrison Township, about 25 miles northeast of Detroit.
Hackel's office released a surveillance photo showing the man holding a woman from behind by the neck with a semiautomatic pistol against the back of her head.
Hackel describes the man as armed and dangerous and says police are concerned about "what he may do in the future."
Police say the man tried to leave with the woman as a hostage, but she resisted. They say he took her purse and cash from a teller.

Picture of armed man
Sounds like he robbed a bank to me. Add that to the list at his trial.
Is it just me or in the first picture of the girl (in the link), when hes pointing the gun at the teller - is the lady behind him smiling?
Either way, I moved to Harrison Township to get away from this kinda stuff. No wonder there were news trucks everywhere around 16/Crocker last night....

Uhm, yeah, thats what I meant by safe neighborhood. Some criminals are smart enough to have figured out that people who live in "nice" neighborhoods have better shi, er, stuff.
Just look at crime reports for the more affluent neighborhoods. The brothers in the hood only get good stuff when they collect it someplace else and actually keep it instead of cashing it in for drugs.

I was thinking the same thing. Almost makes it look like she's in on it.

I'm sure he will be caught. Looks like they got some good video of him. Hopefully soon...
Oh, it sure does.

Yeah!! Thats what I was thinking. Could it have been staged maybe?
I don't know about it being staged. I have seen people react in very weird ways when in stressful situations...
I used to have a guy on my boarding team when I was in the Navy, that every time we went to board a foreign vessel to enforce the arms/trade embargo with Iraq, he would get the giggles...... like a little girl!! It was just the way he dealt with the stress....... but when things got sticky - he was the guy you wanted at your back.
So maybe it was just an awkward frame (think Obama checking out that teenies butt picture), maybe she smiles when stressed like that, or maybe she was implicit........ who knows.....

I gotta agree here, bear in mind that pic is a freeze frame shot from a video, she just as easily could have been surprised or in shock seeing the guy pointing the gun at the teller.

Or really stoked about all of the money her boyfriend just raked in!
At any rate, I hope they catch the d-bag as soon as possible, before he hurts or kills somebody.
One thing I thought of while watching the story was how frustrating it would be for us CPL holders to be in the bank at the time. We could only watch, but man would it be tempting to want to do something. Now if he started shooting, all bets are off - I'm going to react.

Uhm, in a CEZ? Last I heard federally insured banks are on the No-No list, but then again, concealed means concealed
Remember shot placement is 100%, and always be sure of what is behind your target.

Looking at the back of my permit now, I do not see banks on the list of places not allowed to carry.
I guess it doesnt apply to me anyway I never go into banks!!

It's not on the CPL, but if I remember correctly federally insured depositories of off-limits, but then again Pistol Free Zones do not apply to CPL holders who choose to Open Carry. Not something I do, but that option is available to those who choose to exercise it.
