No idea on safe ice or fishing report....but the hump is on the south Canadien shore. Basically halfway between the Detroit River and the Thames river. Look on the map for...well...a hump that extends out into the lake several miles.
I read a few reports of good walleye fishin out there.Don't know if I would go though.It's mid lake & the ice is unstable.Can move anytime & there are pressure cracks.I live in Puce & from Windsor to Puce there is no ice until about the Puce river.Cars goin through the ice at Mitchels.
Chris don't go out there if you like living. It is a very bad area for good ice. I'm going to Gander Mtn Utica tomorrow at 12 foe the seminar on finders. Show up and maybe we can go for coffee after.Bob
