I am takin some vets out tomorrow along with many others and I have not been out lately. Wana maybe do a little perchin or go for some eyes , so if any of you have a good recent area , we all would appreciate that and any other info. It is gona be hot so dont want to waste alot of time hunting as we dont have allot of time as it is.
FISH MAY BE OUT THE THE QUESTION AND SWIMMING MOST LIKELY WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO SPEND THE DAY

I asked if jason and I could take them fishing. We got stuck with the grounds because our boat was not swim friendly. Does anyone know if it is swimming only?

It would be quicker that's for sure! Not sure if the amish made recliner we're donating would fit in the boat though. If we can fit the chair it would save us 30 minutes or better on the drive time

Just mount it on the bow, then you will have an extra fishing seat

I think over by the st.clair light would be a good starting point. I think you may be right bob-o it may be too hot to fish and may end up swimming. I'm bringing lots of waters and gator aid out on the boat. See ya there.

the only thing about fishing is will your riders even have a license, not everyones a sportsperson. i dont know if DNR would ticket a captain for taking a veteran fishing on a outing day like that. but seeing it was a planned event not like there wasnt time to get a license. if it was me and planned on fishing i would ask the organizer if he could possibly give a group of anglers with licenses
