I'm Getting my lower unit fixed and haven't been on the water for 2 weeks. I'm going crazy so I've decided I'm going anyway. I plan on just using the trolling motor to fish in the detroit river. I won't make it far from the launch but I can still get to some water that I like this time of year. I figure It will really slow me down and could be helpful. If I struggle I won't be able to just run somewhere else, I'll have to do everything I can do to catch every bass in the area. There are always days when I think; I wonder how I would have done if I just worked that area for the whole day. Who knows, maybe I'll learn something that will make me forgett all about that darn lower unit.

Hey Marcus. I feel your pain. I have major issues with the structure of my boat. Out of curiousity. What was wrong with the lower unti? Was it the splines? I remember before when you posted you were having trouble. Just wondering. Good luck and be careful. You are a trooper
