Bobber with a brain

While out fishing saturday with bassnbrian I tried using the bobber with a brain. I bought this thing last year because I thought it was interesting at Lakeside Tackle and never used it. It's a bobber that automatically sets your bait just off the bottom. It actually works I was really impressed, I caught the biggest perch of the day while using it. Anybody who likes using bobbers should try one I promise you will not be disappointed. The wind was blowing up 2 to 3ft swells and this thing did not move!!! It stayed in one place untill I moved it.

Hmmm......... Not sure how I feel about that thing. Might be the horrible website design, but it does seem interesting.
Interesting concept, might have to give that a try.
bobbers used to have a feature that would set the hook too, buying this will give your kids something to wonder about when they go through old boxes in your basement someday... "What was dad thinking about when he bought this?"
I must say interesting but I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon. But I don't bobber fish either.
lol i hope not....... i dont even know what i was thinkin, gl kids haa

Ditto
very interesting.
Being such a tackle junkie, I'm sure I'll end up with one sometime soon.
The idea seems like it should really work, as long as the fish cooperate

sounds cool. I might get one to try ice fishing.
Endorsed by Sarah Palin - WOW! The video looked like a 3:00 am. infomercial. All that aside, its an interesting product and something I might just have to try.
sweet looking set up. The part i like best is "MADE IN USA" I bet you dont have to press 1 for english when calling them.
Very interesting.

This would work well on a windy day.
does that thing really work? from the pics I saw it looks bulky? I do ALOT of bobber fishing (have 5 & 6 year-old boys). it looks cool and the logic behind it seems solid. I am a see it to believe it guy myself. not sure what to think about it.

I used it and it does work. It is somewhat awkward to cast but it does works just like the website says. Of all the perch bassnbrian and I caught last Saturday the biggest was caught using the BWAB. I only had a1/4oz bell sinker on it and it stayed in place in the wind and waves which were pretty bad that day. It made a believer out of me and I'll definitely use it again. It's just a matter of casting it, pay out your line until the sinker hits bottom, watch as the chamber fills with water to stand it upright lifting the bait up off the bottom while the steel ball falls down holding the line in place. When you see the top tip over you have been bit.
