We stayed there a couple years ago and would recomend it. Very clean and friendly it was a good stop on the way to Lexington. Bring dinghy alot of area to explore further up the river and a nice cut out into Lake Huron.

Thanks in advance.
Nice place, especially nice for a place for a dingy or wave runner.... up the black river a little ways there a cool cut that comes out by the beach on Huron. Marina's nice too... Oh and Cracker Barrel within walking distance.

We just hosted a cruise here a couple weekends ago for the MacRay Yacht Club. Took 22 boats. Nice accommodation's, nice staff, nice pool, tennis, basketball, fairly nice docks. Bob Evans across the street. You can take inexpensive taxi into downtown for even more. Tell Mark the Harbor Master we said he'd take good care of you!

Thanks to everyone for their tips and recommendations. We're definitely going to check this place out. Looking forward to the run up the St. Clair River from Algonac to Black River. And yes, I know about the sandbar in front of St. Clair.
