How deep of water ?????
Buddy's first musky!
Went out with a friend that has only used a baitcaster for a few casts so I was worried. He is a quick learner so I was hopeful. Well after the first 2 hrs I had one very good sized fish on for a couple minutes but I could not keep him on. So then we start another dirft and I notice that we are very close to the original missed fish... guess what ... FISH ON ! He hooked a nice 39in. Not a monster but very good for a first fish!

7ft we had move out into deeper water than in the recent trips.
THANX...............been fishing 6-8' of water myself, seeing good numbers of fish, some nice ones too................
