well, i will be fishing burt lake by 5pm saturday, and will be there till probably the following sunday!
i have heard its a great fishery, but all i have is a map of the lake, i will try to get a hotspots map asap, but i might not be able to find one,
for those of you that have fished that lake this time of year, please give me some advice, mainly after perch or walleye, but i would just like to get into some fish of any kind.
i know the smallies will be hitting, just never been on this lake before.
also, if anyone has any info on the boat launches available, please help me out.

You may want to try a jig and minnow or leech combo out from where the Sturgeon River dumps into the lake or try trolling with bottom bouncers with crawler harnesses on the deeper breaks.
Theres a launch at the Burt Lake State Park(a little tough for large boats),theres also a couple of marinas on the Indian River with good launches and there is another State launch up in Maple Bay near Brutus.
June 5th & 6th the Michigan BASS Federation is holding a tournament up there so you'll have a few boats to contend with.
I'll be there the same time getting ready for the bass tournament.
You can also try trolling body baits for trout near the breaks.
Enjoy the lake, it can be an awsome fishery.

I'll be up there on friday and I'll be staying at the landings on the river till tuesday. I mostley fish mullet but I will be fishing both this trip it depends on where and whats hot. I've got the fishing hotspots map for these lakes (both lakes are on the same map)and it helps a ton. If you would like to give me a call when you get there I'd be glad to tell you whats happening.
