Heading up to Burt Lake this weekend looking for any tips, lures, locations. I will be at the State Park as a starting point! Any fish species! Thanks

Walleye right out of the park launch, smallies deep. Start fishing for smallies with topwater, then jerkbaits and endup with tubes and skirted grubs. Fish shallow early and move deeper as the sun comes up.

Dave....buy some worms, put one on a hook, drop the hook in the water, crack open cold beer, break out binoculars to peep at hot woman sun-tanning on boyfriends boat.

Kick back, relax....and wait.

Great walleye fishing year 'round. Go to one of the local bait stores in the area, try Youngs on Rt. 31 in Allanson, and ask them to tell you where the old Post Office on the Lake is. Find the 40ft hole not to far off it and start looking there. I'm not sure how deep they are right now, havent been up in a while, but I've been fishing there for a lot of years and I know they're there. . .big 'uns! Bring lot's of crawlers. Bob.
