Oh, I thought this was going to be something kinky.

As far as what to do, I don't think there is anything that can get it out, once it gets into the fibers.

Piece of cake.

Take a brown shopping bag, place it over the wax, (scrape off what you can) Use a hot iron and iron over the bag. The heat and paper will suck up the wax into the bag. Keep moving the bag around to clean areas.

Dookie,
I heard you can put paper towel down or a rag and then use an iron. Checked the internet for ya.

1. Remove with heated iron into absorbent paper towel
or napkin.

2. Sponge with a small amount of dry-cleaning solvent.
Blot. (Use small amounts to prevent any possible damage
to sizings, backings or stuffing materials. Do not use
gasoline, lighter fluid, or carbon tetrachloride).

3. Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent (a mild
detergent containing no alkalies or bleaches) with a cup
of luke-warm water. Blot.

The paper bag trick with the iron really works. When I had my first candle party I had just gotten new blue carpeting. I moved a candle and spilled a lot of red wax. I was amazed that it all came out!!
