Has anybody been out on Cass Lake lately? I'm probably going to try to make it out before the holiday and I was just wondering how/where people were catching walleye, and the same info for the bass or pike.

I was out there today fishing for bass,,,man it was tough. But when the bass are on, its a hayday!!!

jcheetam and i went out sunday from 8:30 am to i think around 2 pm. didnt have a ton of luck, but we managed to catch a few keeper smallies on tubes, a couple of northerns including one that might have went 5 lbs, and the carpmaster himself, jcheetam landed a 13 lb carp. it was kinda slow, but we had a good time. jeff rules, and he is a carp catching mofo

when cass is good, its really good, when its bad, its still pretty good

if you go out later in the evening for walleye, go over on the other side of wards point. throw jerkbaits towards the seawall. we caught 8 this way one night about 3 weeks ago.

Maybe I should change my handle to "CarpMaster"? Had a blast yesterday. Cass was tough but Madman did catch a few nice smallies and a nice pike. The 13lb carp was a trip...it still amazes me what will hit a hula grub....Thanks again Brian...

anytime jeff. i dont think you should change the handle, you may give the others the wrong idea. but i know who to call next time i go carp fishing
