Channel Smallmouth

Fairly new to this forum, what a wealth of information this site is!

Anyways, has anyone been fishing the channels for smallmouth yet (Middle or South)? Just curious as to whether the smallies are in there yet, might have to give it a try this weekend.

Not yet....Maybe not this year???? Weather has them all screwed up.

Post if you catch anything.....not locations.

Caught a couple whippin Algonac, piggys too. The one looked like a carp when we pulled it up.

I gave a few spots a go this past weekend but no results yet.
